2010 Craft Shows Note: As Jeff signs up for new shows, the information will be posted here. Orange, CA. Orange International Street Fair (Chapman and Glassel Streets) Labor Day weekend, Sept. 3 to 5 Friday (5pm to 10pm) , Saturday and Sunday (10am to 10pm). The emphasis in this very lively show is the food -- there are MANY different, delightful ethnic foods available. There are also some interesting crafts. FREE. For more info, see their website.
Some Prior Shows Fountain Hills, AZ. Great Fair. (On Avenue of the Fountains). Fri., Sat. and Sun., Feb. 26 - 28, from 10 to 5. About 480 artists and artisans, food, and entertainment. FREE. Irwindale, CA. 47th Annual Renaissance Pleasure Faire. (Santa Fe Dam). Open from 10 am to 7 pm weekends from April 10 through May 23. This annual event is much more than a crafts show. It’s great entertainment for the entire family. Admission is $25, children (5 to 12) $15, parking $8. Malibu, CA. 39th Annual Malibu Arts Festival (23555 Civic Center Way) Saturday and Sunday, July 24 and 25 from 10 am to 6 pm. This large show has over 200 artists, plus music, kids events, and a food court. Lots of fun for everyone, and it's Free. Carlsbad, CA. Art in the Village (Village of Carlsbad, 2 blocks from the beach) on Sunday, August 8, from 10 to 5. A nice, pleasant show with 200 venders and just two blocks from the beach. Held the second Sunday in August, Art in the Village highlights fine art, sculpture, photography, ceramics and handmade jewelry, furniture, clothing and wood crafts. Live onstage soft jazz music helps to cultivate a leisurely atmosphere of the arts. Come join us for great place and time to find the finest quality arts and crafts anywhere. FREE.
